The Super Bowl of History

Another beautiful day in the east for this time of year and its Sunday. On this day me and my wife head out on the town to resupply our home with our everyday needs, Shop-rite, walmart, everybody does it be it today or Saturday its just a ritual we all endure. But this is that Sunday of the year that always has that big sign hanging over it " SUPER BOWL TODAY" so as we were going around doing our thing i got to thinking about all the news about this day and how in some way it reflects towards our history learning's. The first thing that came to mind was the obvious Davey and Goliath and hopefully the underdog can come thru and satisfy this legend as we all hope. and then we can also look at the past dictators in time and try to find some that have realized that by turning a new leaf and listening to your people you can have a strong and better group of people that will actually back you. Then we can look at all the great spying scandals we have had in time and relate this one team to them in one way or another. And it always ends that you get caught and lose your intentions anyway. And then there's the great leader who had a beautiful lady by his side, has a child and dumps her for the beauty queen, who talks the talk and in the end threw all the battles, loses the biggest one of all, and has nothing to show for it after all. And then we get to the presidential race we got going on. Big name performers before and at half time, commercials that take millions to produce and purchase for a few measly seconds of our viewership and we can go on and on and on but really isn't it funny how everything that goes on in our lives some how relates to the history of our world? think about it. Peace, love, and happiness
