To save an American Icon

After sitting threw one the most nerve racking and dull Daytona 500's in years past, i think that its not only showing that the Japanese are not only satisfied with almost taking over the auto industries in the United States but also in Nascar. From the Performance they had in the race on Sunday i think the American Auto makers better step their game up or we could be in risk of them taking over one of Americas favorite past time.

Cut it anyway
I mean even with Tony Stewart saying he would cut off that ugly mane of hair if he won helped but Toyota sure overpowered the powerful Hendrick stable of Chevrolet's by far and if it wasn't for the Penske Dodges either Tony Stewart or Kyle Busch would have won the race and all we could have done is cover our faces and leave.

Was just a matter of time
I really don't understand why Nascar even opened the door to Toyota anyway, probably because some huge monetary payout . Because with the money Toyota has it was only a matter of time before they got going and nobody paid attention to it and now look at what we got. Pretty soon they will be calling it the Sony cup or the Tokyo 500. it would not surprise me at all.

High hopes
Well before i go just got to say i think that the Americans will still prevail and we should get rid of Toyota and bring it back to being a true American sport. Go Jeff Gordon in that 24 car and throw some backing to hometown boy Martin Truex Jr.. So Peace Love And Happiness
