Catching up a bit

From the last time i was speaking from the side, Been working kinda of steady as per this East Coast weather. Digging holes in the ground and putting pipes in them , sounds like fun, not really but pays the bills. Thank God Nascar is back, between all these reality shows clogging the television along with this presidential candidates talking the same stuff we been hearing for years if it wasn't for Nascar being on , you know what i mean. For the longest time been trying to find a Organic way to lower this High Cholesterol problem that not only i have but, has been in my family for a long time. Tried the Vitamin way but, my stomach can't handle them so now I'm back to square one. Don't even want to go the chemical way. Going to be real interesting to see the effect of the Governor's budget cuts, know they are going to hurt but what else can he do? At least he is trying to stop the bleeding before there's no more. Well, hopefully he can straighten this mess out because i lived in this state most of my life and i have loved living here. But if things don't get better soon i don't know what I'll do because it's getting to expensive to live here. But until then I'll just keep on keeping on with my writing and my family life and take it as it goes. Peace, Love and Happiness!

What's so Beautiful about it?

I was sitting at home last night watching world news tonight and for some reason or another that because of a couple of events that were featured, America the beautiful started going threw my head. So right off the start was jumped out was For Spacious Skies and i got to thinking, Are you kidding me? Right on the television was showing the big mess in the Northeast with snow, rain, and ice and the delays it was causing at the Airports. Let alone yesterday have you ever seen the maps of the air traffic in our skies on a daily basis? it would definitely put some doubt on the Spacious skies theory. I mean our population has exploded to a point where our roadways can't handle the surge of vehicles so of course people are going to turn to the skies. And it is getting to a point to where that option is getting strained. Now lets see, Next it would be for Amber Waves of Grain. And yes the very next story was about the price of Wheat these days and the toll it's taking on the food industry. Well we can probably put some of this blame on Spacious Skies because one of the reasons for the price hike is that sooner or later the oil supplies will be reduced because of demand and the need for alternative fuel has a lot of the farmers switching over to only growing corn for the bioethical and the farmers that are left growing wheat and our other grains are sitting back with some pretty fat pockets and saying you go guys keep growing that corn while we get just as rich. Just imagine all us Pizza lovers having to get second jobs because the Pizza places will be charging 100 dollars for a pie. Above what fruited plains? Most of our fruit is imported these days anyway and the fruit thats not is to expensive. And with the population explosion soon there won't be any plains to be fruitful so i can't imagine what Katherine Lee Bates would think if she were alive today of the Country we live in. I can just imagine how she would word the same song in this day and age. Well all i can say is America, America it's now or never to worry about ourselves before it's to late. Peace Love and Happiness

Reality Rage

After sitting threw another two agonizing hours of American Idol like most of the country, I finally realized what could solve alot of or countries problems. And that would be is to replace all these R eality shows, News programs, cartoons and infomercials with some kind of educational shows or nothing at all. Why? because most reality shows American Idol, Big Brother, Rock of Love, Are all garbage and does nothing but humiliate the people thewy pick to be on their shows. The first two seasons were good but now they just bait you into watching them where in reality they are really just on so all their broadcasting companies can make millions on companies buying advertising time during their shows. And if your like most Americans you know what I'm talking about.Simon, Paula, and Randy have all seem to have started to lose their sight, hearing and minds. Have you really been able to find one of their contestants in the last four seasons worthy of being an American Idol? Not one of the recent winners have gone anywear but the drop list on their record companies lists of artists.. Chris Daughtry has been the only bright spot and he was voted off near the end of Idol 6. And just as bad are all the news programs where everything they mostly talk about is The murder rates in most cities and colleges. Then theres the corruption, roadways and bridges falling apart and the weather which most times is for the worst. I mean why watch it at all? For the sports which these days are mostly about athletes and performance inhancing drugs, a real sad state of affairs I'd say.Just think of how much energy we would save if we changed the programs shown on our television to things other than the things listed. Most children and their parents would not even watch half the shows that they do now so we would cut down on our electricity need. People would get up off the couch and maybe move around, maybe even exercize so that would help our heath needs. Plus alot of these companies would stop spending all these millions on comercials so they could keep their costs down and maybe we could afford something every now and then. But i guess at the end of the day it always goes back to why television is so much apart of our daily lives which is the curiosoty that we all have and those programmers know it. Or maybe people will realize that we need to find a way to fix this mess we have and realy make time for change now. Well Peace Love and Happiness and who gets voted off next.

It's not really that far fetched

The people of this garden state always find a way to amaze me. Finally we get a Governor who is trying to straighten out our fiscal mess that has amassed over the years yet people still have to rant and rave about it. I mean if they would just slow down and really look at the situation we have gotten ourselves in maybe the Governors ideas are really that bad after all. If you really look back i can't remember the last Governor who even tried to do what he is doing. People are complaining about what he intends to raise now they better look ahead and see what it will cost further down the road.
Really he is not all to blame because, the people who we voted in to our township governments allowed all this new building to go crazy with the promise of cheaper taxes with all these new businesses and homes but what it really has done but make it worse. New schools more teachers, police officers, more garbage, where is the savings i ask you? And then along with all the less than honest people that got into office we come to the mess we have. With all these new people moving into state we have more vehicles on roads that were designed 30 years ago.
Nobody thought about these things and while we have been trying to keep up with the mad rush to live here our roadways and bridges are falling apart and no money to fix them. So what i think he will end up doing is raising the parkway tolls but not as much as he says, then raising the gas tax some and we will be just fine.
We have been borrowing to sustain our transportation fund for so long that we can't anymore and it will run out soon unless we take this action now. I know the Governor said that pigs would fly before the next time he increased anything but if we wait any longer the cost will out fly the pigs for sure. So its something everyone should really look at before its too late. Peace, Love, and Happiness!

To save an American Icon

After sitting threw one the most nerve racking and dull Daytona 500's in years past, i think that its not only showing that the Japanese are not only satisfied with almost taking over the auto industries in the United States but also in Nascar. From the Performance they had in the race on Sunday i think the American Auto makers better step their game up or we could be in risk of them taking over one of Americas favorite past time.

Cut it anyway
I mean even with Tony Stewart saying he would cut off that ugly mane of hair if he won helped but Toyota sure overpowered the powerful Hendrick stable of Chevrolet's by far and if it wasn't for the Penske Dodges either Tony Stewart or Kyle Busch would have won the race and all we could have done is cover our faces and leave.

Was just a matter of time
I really don't understand why Nascar even opened the door to Toyota anyway, probably because some huge monetary payout . Because with the money Toyota has it was only a matter of time before they got going and nobody paid attention to it and now look at what we got. Pretty soon they will be calling it the Sony cup or the Tokyo 500. it would not surprise me at all.

High hopes
Well before i go just got to say i think that the Americans will still prevail and we should get rid of Toyota and bring it back to being a true American sport. Go Jeff Gordon in that 24 car and throw some backing to hometown boy Martin Truex Jr.. So Peace Love And Happiness

While they are at it,

I think that while all these hearings are going on about hgh and steroids in sports today, they should have hearings on congress itself for this reason. That for as long as i can remember they have been letting these agencies inside the government itself require companies that manufacture and produce our food products add all these chemicals that they say are making them more safe but in the long run altering our body chemistry.

From Way Back When
I can still recall when i was growing up there was never any talk or even reports of autism. If you really think about it i can only remember not to many years back that i even heard about it. so it really makes you think why is that? Could that finally after all these years of ingesting all these chemically induced foods be bringing on these problems?

As The Rates Goes Up
As our children, not alone ourselves keep on seeing increases in health problems for that i think is because of all the processed foods we eat, i myself am slowly but surely switching to the healthier and non processed food for the reason that is more evident everyday. With all the talk of why all these problems arise, just look on any package of processed food and you can see why we have them.

Pure Milk
There are people that are going out of their way not only by travel but also price to get non processed milk. And even though the government has been warning them against doing so they still do for the reason that they say they have never felt better in their lives. They say it is quite expensive to purchase a gallon and there are not to many places but i would not mind trying it out.

Was it Really Necessary?
If you really look at it we didn't really need these agencies in our government to exist after all. People have been eating and drinking organic products for years and haven't had any problems that i can recall. Even the vegetarians haven't had any problems, and i even use some of their practices and find them really enjoyable. If you look at it most of all the recalls and health scares come from some kind of processed food or were it was grown they used some kind of chemical in its life span.

Well before i sign off all i have to say is eat healthy, exercise and leave all that processed junk for those who make it and regulate it. Peace Love and Happiness!

Ode To My Angel

Soon the day of the little nymph with wings and a bow and arrow will ascend on us for his yearly visit. And i know that i will be able to show my love and respect to the lady i love so, my little angel is away enriching her mind in college so that she won't have to struggle thru life in her coming years. but ever since she first came to us i knew she was something special. the world could have gone dark for some reason or another but the brightness from the smile she put on my face could have lit up the world over. It has been nothing but sheer pleasure watching her evolve into the beautiful young lady she has become. Preschool, grade school, high school, and now college, thru out them all she has given all her energy to succeed and make me the proudest father that ever roamed this earth. She has made friends with some of the best kids around with time to find the lord. Doesn't drink or smoke or been in any trouble be it drugs or the law. Loves rock and roll , the red hot chili peppers are her favorite and hanging out with dad. Been all over the country visiting relatives all on her own and now is down in Pensacola Florida attending the University of West Florida and doing very well. She started to get home sick for awhile but luckily my brother lives there and she goes over his house every weekend, thank god for family. Well before i close the greatest thing is she will be flying home for a week in march and i can't wait to see her. So may god watch over her on this special day and every day she is away and happy valentines day to all the lady's out there and hope everyone has someone special like me.I love my angel so, Peace Love And Happiness !

And it begins

Well here we are the beginning of a good week of racing to start of the 2008 year in Nascar racing. We had a good night of practice for tonight's Budweiser Shootout. A couple of wrecks, one that stir up the rivalry between Tony Stewart and Kurt Busch. I hope that Nascar does what they say and stat back and let these drivers vent to a certain degree this year. It will definitely make the season more interesting. With a lot of people going different directions this year plus using the car of tomorrow exclusively t should be a good year. With Dale Earnhardt Jr. moving over to Hendrick Motor sports, he should have a better year than last. Can't wait to see how local fave Martin Truex Jr. does as Dale Earnhardt Inc. number one driver, hope he does well. So now its off to my usual Saturday things to do. Go 24! Peace Love and Happiness

When the tap runs dry,

Ah yea, fifty degrees and its February in the northeast. Blessing or a curse ? who knows but we'll take it. But some states with all this warm weather in the winter and no rain , those who fled there for the cheap taxes, I'm talking about the south east areas, are in for a rude awakening. As the population increases, the demand for water increases not only for the people but the power plants that supply them energy, need more water to cool their reactors. It already is affecting a lot of the inland power plants because the level of water is so low in the rivers that feed the cooling pipes is so low they cannot draw enough water to cool there reactors so they have to throttle down the output. So now they have to import power from other states and that means higher electric prices. So i think if these states don't wake up soon they will be having big problems. They could start by using wind turbine fields and solar power. Its becoming more and more apparent that this is the only way we are going to be able to sustain our needs for power in the future and to be able to afford it. Free power with out the need for nuclear cells that will eventually become another problem. So go out and start pushing your townships, your states and the government to get up of their seats and get going on these things so we can all move on with no more problems. We also can start by doing most of it ourselves because most states give big rebates for people who go out and have solar power units installed on their homes. Now is the time to get things going. Peace love and Happiness.

The Super Bowl of History

Another beautiful day in the east for this time of year and its Sunday. On this day me and my wife head out on the town to resupply our home with our everyday needs, Shop-rite, walmart, everybody does it be it today or Saturday its just a ritual we all endure. But this is that Sunday of the year that always has that big sign hanging over it " SUPER BOWL TODAY" so as we were going around doing our thing i got to thinking about all the news about this day and how in some way it reflects towards our history learning's. The first thing that came to mind was the obvious Davey and Goliath and hopefully the underdog can come thru and satisfy this legend as we all hope. and then we can also look at the past dictators in time and try to find some that have realized that by turning a new leaf and listening to your people you can have a strong and better group of people that will actually back you. Then we can look at all the great spying scandals we have had in time and relate this one team to them in one way or another. And it always ends that you get caught and lose your intentions anyway. And then there's the great leader who had a beautiful lady by his side, has a child and dumps her for the beauty queen, who talks the talk and in the end threw all the battles, loses the biggest one of all, and has nothing to show for it after all. And then we get to the presidential race we got going on. Big name performers before and at half time, commercials that take millions to produce and purchase for a few measly seconds of our viewership and we can go on and on and on but really isn't it funny how everything that goes on in our lives some how relates to the history of our world? think about it. Peace, love, and happiness

Is this man really mad?

Well its a beautiful day for february in the east, but its that time of year again when your benifits get renewed and you go for your yearly check up. I have been seeing the same denist for years and i swear he has a job on the side acting in one of those bella lugosi movies. You walk into his office and his nurse calls you in and takes x-rays then tells you he will be right with you. After a couple 0f minutes after he runs up and down the hallway a hundred times he enters. And the greeting is always the same, How you Doinnnng? with his little sinester howl to it. You swear he is going to strap you down and attach some kind of electrodes to your forehead and jolt you with a million volts of electricity. Then you wake up and you have no teeth but, fangs and a couple of bolts sticking out of your head. But it usually the same thing that he always says, yep its time for a cleaning and after that its always you need drilling and filling. I don't know that its just because of my age but, i always do everything he tells me to do. Brush, floss, brush my tongue, stay away from candy and hard stuff but there always drilling to be done. Well until i can find another denist that my insurance covers i will always be making the trek up to place where the mad denist resides. Peace, Love and Happiness

I think Ray's laughing

Well its raining again and i'm stuck at home doing not to much at all. With all the trouble these thieving mortgage companies are having, since they finally realized that yes you can get the people to sign but after you try and screw them over so bad that they can't pay that maybe with what i saw on the news the other night, possibly they will open their eyes a little. I mean that this guy who we voted into office eight years ago who thinks he has done a good job of screwing our country up thinks that by giving everybody a small rebate check is going to make everything go away is crazy. But there was a couple from the carolinas that had been swallowed into one of these adjustable mortgages and were having trouble paying it had a local news station do a story on it. So the news station contacted the mortgage company after many attempts by the home owner to get their rate dropped and presto the mortage company refinanced their mortgage at a fixed rate that they could afford. So the moral to this whole thing is that if all these mortgage companies would do the same that they would not be in the mess we are in today. At least they would be making a profit, not as large as they thought but at least they could stop ruining peoples lives and the economy.
